Raymond Rex Bodiford

Raymond Rex Bodiford, age 75 of Mineola, passed away on Wednesday, September 11th, 2019 in Grand Saline. He was born on September 23rd, 1943 in Kilgore to the late Rex and Nanny Mae Bodiford.

Raymond worked for Tyler Pipe, in his free time he enjoyed fishing and hunting with family and friends. He also enjoyed singing and playing the guitar even while his health was failing, he would sing to his family. Raymond was a fun-loving and straight-forward man who loved making his family laugh and smile. He will be greatly missed by all knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 20 years, Brenda Bodiford and 1 great grandchild.

He is survived by his daughters, Teresa Ann Telles, Tanya Lanee Brooke, and Wendy Joy Tyndell; grandchildren, Ashley Ann Taylor, Chasity Marie Davis, Cody Wayne Butler, Bradley Cyrus Butler, Tony Randal Luellen, Randal Trent Luellen, Britney Lanee Brooke, Starr Victoria Brinkley and Kaleb Rex Tyndell; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Mediford Bodiford; and sisters, Nadra Louderman, Sheryl Miller, Trilla Simonek and Freda Cowart.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 14th, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 5320 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX 75773. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm with Bro. Charles Louderman Jr. conducting. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Garden in Mineola, with Tony Luellen, Cody Butler, John Simonek, Junior Williams, Bobby Williams, and Daniel Louderman serving as pallbearers.
