Raymond Christopher Lewis

Mr. Raymond Christopher Lewis Jr, age 78 of Mineola, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 in Tyler, Texas. He was born February 20, 1943 to the late Raymond Christopher Lewis Sr. and Mary Margeret Lewis. RC was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Mineola, Texas. He was also a Mason. RC enjoyed cooking, farming, coaching, and truck driving. He is preceded in death by his parents; Raymond and Mary Lewis. He is survived by his wife; Kathy Lewis of Mineola, Texas, son's; R.L. Lewis and wife Nervy of Mineola, Texas, Bobby Ryan and wife Cindy of Mineola, Texas, daughter's; Kristi Ryan of Amarillo, Texas, Julie Annis and husband Jeff of Amarillo, Texas, and seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and lifelong friend Keeland Scales.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, Texas. Funeral service will be on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church in Mineola, Texas with Bro. Michael Mize and Clint Hunt officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Memorial Gardens in Mineola, Texas.
