Rebecca Diane Lawson

Rebecca "Becky" Lawson of Winnsboro, Texas, was wrapped in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 20, 2020. Becky was born to the late Leonard and Patricia Ann Burton on May 11, 1960 in Mesquite, Texas. She had been a resident of the Winnsboro area for nearly 35 years. Becky loved dancing and singing. She had a great love for her family and especially enjoyed bragging and spoiling all of her grandbabies. Becky was known to tell a few stories in her life and "The Taller the Tell the Better". Her family loved her so very much and will miss her smile and loving care she had for all of them. Becky was preceded in death by her parents and brother Jerry Burton. She is survived by husband Billy Lawson; son Michael Lawson, son Josh Lawson and wife Jennifer; daughter Sherry Henson and husband Brandon, daughter Misty Hennings and husband Kevin Jackson; brother Joe Burton; sister Jocee Lee and husband Ronny, sister Mary Rasbury and husband Billy Joe; 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, June 25th. The funeral will occur at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 26th at Beaty Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Nub Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Smyrna Cemetery.
