Reveau Sprintz Stewart

November 20, 1919 — March 8, 2007

Mr. Reveau Sprintz Stewart passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at the age of 87. He was born on November 20, 1919 to the late Albert R. Stewart and Laura Mae Thompson Stewart. Mr. Stewart served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and married the former Martha Jane Watson on July 11, 1941. He was a home builder and served as a trustee on the Lewisville School Board. Mr. Stewart was a Charter Member of the Lewisville Bible Church for thirty years before moving to Winnsboro. He was a current member of the Lake Country Bible Church in Mineola since 1981 and was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister. Survivors include his wife of sixty-five years, Mrs. Jane Stewart of Winnsboro; daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Max Morely of Nacogdoches, Eileen and Dennis Morse of Denton, Mary and John Allums of Galveston, Debi and Richard Habern of Argyle and Kathy Stewart of Dallas; sons and daughters-in-law, Reveau "Bo" and Carolyn Stewart of Winnsboro and Dr. Hal and Martha Stewart of Highland Shores; sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris and Stanford Allen of Lewisville, Irene Haney of Cedar Hill and Betty and Wanell O'Barr of Winnsboro; twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
