Ricardo Miguel Paredes

Ricardo (Rick) Miguel Paredes was born on May 8, 1955 and went peacefully home to our Lord on August 26, 2024. He grew up in Fort Worth and attended North Side High School.

Rick was a proud Marine and served our country stationed in Vietnam. After the military he began a career with the US Postal Service. Rick and his wife Eme spent years serving in homeless ministries. His love for the Lord was evident in his daily scripture readings sent to dozens of friends and family. Upon retirement from the Post Office, Rick and Eme settled in their dream home in Winnsboro, TX. Rick loved the outdoors, carpentry, and especially loved making beautiful wooden canes.

Rick is survived by his loving wife Eme, his children Damien Paredes, Leigh Paredes, Amy Webb (husband Brandon),stepchildren Ryan Anthony, Chad Anthony, Jessica Masud and Seth Christopher, 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; siblings Benny Paredes, and his wife Linda, Raquel Paredes, Eddie Paredes, and his wife Ruby, Monica Collins, and her husband Andrew, brother in law Danny McClurkan and his wife Clara, sister in law Frankie McClurkan, and sister in law Halley Dillman and her husband Mark as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
