Richard Glenn Bailiff

Richard Glenn Bailiff, 35, of Mineola TX, passed away on September 27th, 2023. Rick was born on April 20th, 1988 to Mike Bailiff and Diane Palacios in Tyler, TX. After Rick graduated from Mineola High School in 2006, he explored a couple different occupations until finding his true calling in sales. He was a valuable asset to Verizon for 10 years until the dream of owning his own company became a reality. Rick opened RGB Solar and Roofing and quickly became well known for his strong work ethics and his desire to succeed.

In 2018, Rick met Sharlette through a mutual friends gathering and had an instant connection, they have been inseparable ever since. Together they had finally found the true meaning of unconditional love and with that built a wonderful life for their 6 beautiful daughters. Being a great father was not only his main priority but his biggest accomplishment in life. He made sure their girls had a relationship with God, taught them the importance of honesty, and showered them with more love in a single day; than others receive in a lifetime. He cherished the time spent with family and friends and the memories they made, from evening walks, cheering his girls on from the sidelines, and holidays at the farm.

Rick had a passion for feeding people and spread love with every dish he made. He had an incredible ability to find light and humor in every situation. His love for music was unmatched, he couldn’t pick just one genre so he knew them all. He has been a die hard Cowboys fan his entire life. Regardless win, lose, or draw he stayed loyal. Rick found a new love in golf and, like the passion he had for people, he embraced what he loved and let the rest fall equal.

Rick was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Edith Bailiff, and his Aunt, Tricia Bailiff.

He is survived by his wife, Sharlette; his daughters, Faith, Hope, Reny Grace, Reny Fay, Gracie, and Abby; his father, Mike Bailiff; his mother, Diane Palacios; and his sisters, Meghan McGinnis and Chelsea Bailiff.

Services will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Friday, October 6th, 2023 at 2:00pm.
