Richard Hedger

Richard Hedger of Holly Lake Ranch, Texas, entered into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 14, 2020 at the age of 75. Mr. Hedger was born to the late David Richard Hedger and Jane Menzies McKee Hedger in Scotland. Richard served and was honorably discharged in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. He and his wife Glenda were members of Summitt Heights Church in Holly Lake Ranch. Mr. Hedger enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and taking a ride on his motorcycle. He was creative with his hands and loved to tinker with all sorts of projects. Richard was retired from Keller Creamery in Winnsboro. Mr. Hedger was preceded in death by his parents and survived by his wife of 21 years Glenda Campbell Hedger; daughters Tirza Bax and Alisha Hughes; brother John Hedger and Lawrence Hedger; sister Margaret "Maggie" Collins; 6 grandchildren Rebekah, Tabitha, Ethan, Merri, Brittany and Ryan; 2 great-grandchildren Emma and Libby. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery.
