Richard Eugene Johnson

Richard Eugene Johnson, age 73 of Holly Lake Ranch, Texas, died on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was born on Saturday, January 08, 1938 in Kenny, Illinois to the late Charles and Viola Johnson.

He served in the United States Army and preformed quality control in the printing industry. He was a member of AMBUCS, the Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce in Big Spring, Texas and a charter member of The Knights of Columbus of Holly Lake Ranch, Texas. He attended Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Robert Johnson, John Franklin Johnson, Raymond Lee Johnson, and Charles "Skeet" Johnson; two sisters and brothers in laws.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Johnson, two sons, Paul Andre and Richard Stephen Johnson, two daughters, Laura Louise Mills and LaDonna Michelle Metzzer; a brother, Vernon Earl Johnson and sister in law, Myrna Johnson.

Mr. Johnson will be interred at the D/FW National Cemetery on Friday, September 16, 2011 at 3:00 PM.

A memorial service will be held at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Saturday, September 17, 2011 with a 9:00 AM Rosary and a 9:30 AM Mass.
