Richard Lanagan

Mr. Richard Donnell Lanagan, age 72, of Winnsboro, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2007. He was born in Oklahoma City on August 6, 1934, to the late Thomas Blake and Marilyn Gross Lanagan. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, Chief Financial Officer for Rytech Construction, and a catholic. He married the former Ms. Janis Douglas Johnson on September 5, 1959 in Irving. His greatest joy was following his grandchildrens extracurricular activities. He was a devoted Lady Raider fan, and an avid golfer. He is survived by his loving wife, Janis Lanagan of Winnsboro; son and daughter-in-law, Blake and Kim Lanagan of McKinney; two daughters and sons-in-law, Allison and Terry Wilson of McKinney, Leslie and Mark Cook of Winnsboro; brother, Terry Lanagan of Edmund, Ok.; sister, Sharon Shelley of Edmund, Ok.; nine grandchildren, Zack Lanagan, Jamie Lanagan, Michael Lanagan, Noah Lanagan, Katie Foster and husband Jake, Morgan Cook, Lauren Wilson, Anna Wilson, Victoria Marshall and husband Brandon; one great grandchild, Ally Marshall; and his beloved Cocker Spaniel "Taylor".
