He found joy in playing cards with neighbors, family, and friends, creating lasting memories and bonds through shared laughter and friendly competition. A master craftsman, Richard took immense pride in his woodworking skills, building many beautiful projects with birdhouses, squirrel feeders, and the famous wooden rocking horses cherished by his grandchildren to name a few.
For 45 wonderful years, he shared his life with the love of his life, delighting in surprising her with gifts during their outings to shops, flea markets, and antique malls. Richard treasured the times spent with family, especially during holidays or just-because days filled with barbecues, card games, Yahtzy, and billiards, always ensuring laughter and smiles filled their home.
