Richard Swanner

A memorial service for Richard “Rickie” Alan Swanner, 66, of Winnsboro will be held 11 am, Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro, Texas. Arrangements are under the directions of Beaty Funeral Home Staff. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Richard was born on November 27th, 1951 in Mount Pleasant to the late Kenneth Swanner and Wanda Swanner. He retired in 1991 from Texas Eastman Chemical in Longview, Texas, where he also resided for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth Swanner & Wanda Swanner; brother, Gary Swanner and his brother-in-law, Richard Moore . He is survived by his son, Lance Swanner and wife Robin of Longview; daughter, Crystal Briggs of Kilgore; brother, Mike Swanner of Tatum and his sister, Sandra Moore of Garland. He will also be greatly remembered by his grandchildren, Lauren Swanner, Tyler Christian, Trent Briggs, Trace Briggs, Justin Skinner, Jessica Garrett and two great-grandchildren.
