Ricky Wayne White

Ricky Wayne White, born on May 8, 1969, in Dallas, Texas, passed away on September 27, 2024, at the age of 55. Ricky was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend who touched the lives of many through his kindness, sense of humor, and generous spirit.

Ricky was the son of Danny Wayne White of Wills Point and the late Darlene Newland Humphrey. Growing up in Dallas, Ricky developed a love for football, especially the Dallas Cowboys, a passion that followed him throughout his life. He had a remarkable talent for working with his hands, and this love for craftsmanship led him to a career as a contractor. He also had a natural gift for connecting with children and enjoyed fishing whenever he got the chance.

Ricky was married to Corinna Butler, and together they built a life in Dallas, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife, Corinna; his son, Cody Wayne White of Dallas; his father, Danny Wayne White; his sister, April Darlene McCommas and husband Terry of Balch Springs; his brother Danny Dewayne White of Wills Point; his aunt, Lisa Cadenhead of Quitman; and his uncle and aunt, Joseph Earl and Alita Newland of Quitman. Ricky was also the proud grandfather of four grandchildren, whom he cherished deeply.

Ricky is preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Newland Humphrey, and his grandparents, J.D. and Joy Newland.

Ricky will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love of football, and his ability to bring joy to those around him. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
