Rita Lynn Carroll

Rita Lynn Carroll, 62, of Mineola, TX passed away on May 11, 2022 at home peacefully with her family. She was born on May 27, 1959 to the late Chester Melvin Baker and Pearl Marie Baker. Rita was a member of Smith Chapel Methodist Church in Mineola, TX. She enjoyed bowling, tennis and was a member of Mineola Country Club.

She is preceded in death by her son, Adam David Carroll; daughter, Leslie Herlocker; brother, Melvin Mitchell.

Those left behind to cherish her memories, husband of sixteen years, David Carroll of Mineola, TX; sons, David Allan Gates of Mineola, TX and James Michael Gates of Mineola, TX; sisters,Vickie Marie Neyara of Mesquite, TX, Debra Jo Euler and husband Richard of Mesquite, TX; grandchildren, Riley Carroll Donohoe of Mineola, TX, Avery Herlocker of Mineola, TX and niece Rikki Jo Coxsey of Dallas, TX.

Visitation will be on May 12, 2022 from 6 to 8 PM at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, TX, 5320 South State Hwy 37 Mineola, TX. Graveside service will be on May 13, 2022 at 10 AM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 5320 South State Hwy 37 Mineola, TX.

In lieu of flowers family has asked for donations to be made to Reflections Hospice.
