Rita Agnese Fredali Lindsey

"Rita" Agnese Fredali Lindsey, age 84 of Winnsboro, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2010 in Tyler. She was born on April 4, 1926 in Morolo, Italy to the late Alfredo and Louisa Fredali. Following World War II, she worked as an interpreter for the Allied Forces in Italy, In March of 1947 she came to Winnsboro to marry Winnsboro native, Sgt. Leon Lindsey, as a war bride. She was a retired chef and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was preceded in death by, her husband, Leon Lindsey; son, Danny Lindsey; brother, Ugo Fredali; sisters, Gesa Fredali, Maria Fredali Marchisani. She is survived by two sons, Randy Lindsey and wife Heather of Winnsboro, Andy Lindsey and wife Michelle of Winnsboro; brother, Orlando Fredali of Rome, Italy; and four grandchildren.
