Robbie Iwana Carney

Robbie Iwana “Baby Girl” Carney, age 92, died Friday, March 22, 2013 in Emory, Texas. She was born on Monday, March 14, 1921 in Wood County, Texas to the late Robert and Martha Burnett. She was a seamstress and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Mineola, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Burton P. “Bozo” Carney; her parents; and two sisters.

She is survived by a brother, Nimon R.C. Burnett; two sisters, Jimmie Carter of New Hope, Texas and Hettie Lou Fields of Mineola, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Ms. Carney will be held at Beaty Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 9 AM – 10AM followed by a funeral service at 10AM with Bro. Fred Morrow officiating.

Interment will be at New Hope Cemetery.
