Robert Aldridge

Robert “Max” Aldridge, age 84, of Coke passed away Thursday, June 20, 2019 in Carrollton. Max was born August 13, 1934 to the late Jessie Clifton and Daisy Louise Aldridge in Winnsboro. After graduating high school, he joined the National Guard. Max also served in the US Air Force and received an associate degree from Kilgore College. He worked as a Marketing Administrator for AT&T for thirty years. Max was a lover of animals and would feed any animal that came to him. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing poker with his friends and operating his Ham radio. He also loved his spending time with his family and friends. Max was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 33 years, Sara Janice Aldridge. He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Jerome Aldridge and his wife Chrissy Aldridge; daughters, Kimberly Kay Hoffman and her husband, Barry Hoffman and Michelle Ann Aldridge and husband, Dan Powell. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Stephen Hoffman, Timothy Powell, Caroline Aldridge and Rane Aldridge. Visitation will be held Monday, June 24, 2019 at Beaty Funeral Home 816 W. Broadway, Winnsboro, Texas 75494 from 12 pm to 1 pm with services to follow. Interment will be held at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro, Texas.
