Robert Earl Baccus Sr., 68, of Mineola, TX died on Thursday, January 23, 2014 in Tyler. He was born on Friday, October 19, 1945 in Jacksonville, TX to the late Author and Mary Rose Baccus.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one son; James Christopher Baccus. He is survived by his son; Robert E. Baccus Jr. and Teresa Morgan of Mineola, TX; one sister; Rosemary Cummings of Krogerville, TX.

Visitation will be at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Friday January 24, 2014 from 6-8 PM. Graveside service will be at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Longview, TX on January 25, 2014 at 12:00 PM officiated by Rev. Elmer Cummings.
