Robert C. Blalock

Robert C. Blalock, 88, of Mineola, TX died on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 in Mineola. He was born on Sunday, August 23, 1925 in Deweyville, TX to the late Robert and Margurett Blalock. Robert is preceded in death by one son; one daughter; four brothers.

He is survived by his wife of sixty six years, Dorothy Blalock; daughter, Tricia S. Whitley and husband Jim of Crandall, TX; son, Robert Glen Blalock of Mineola, TX; sisters, Nadine Melton of Mineola, TX, Maxine Godbey of Mineola, TX; grandchildren, Stephanie Johnson, Tim Whitley, Brian Duncan, Tessa Howerton, Cindy Mize; twelve great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 6-8 PM. Graveside service will be on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 10:00 AM at New Hope Cemetery officiated by Rev. Jim Pickens.
