Robert Garland Boykin

Mr. Robert Garland Boykin, age 76 of Winnsboro, passed away on Tuesday January 15, 2013 in Mt. Pleasant with his family by his side. He was born in Dallas on December 2, 1936 to the late Byron and Marrie Williams Boykin. Mr. Boykin was a retired foreman for TXU, and a member of Pine Street Baptist Church. He was preceded in by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Louise Boykin of Winnsboro; a son, Randy Boykin and wife Pat of Mt. Pleasant; two daughters, Rhonda Thompson and husband J.D. of Conway, AR, Alecia Marie Cox of Greensboro, NC; a sister, Maudine Evans and husband Aubrey of Flint; twelve grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Services under the direction of Beaty Funeral Home, 816 W. Broadway, Winnsboro, TX where the family will receive friends on Friday, January 18, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 Pm, with funeral services scheduled for Saturday, Janaury 19 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home, Bro. Charles Ethridge officiating, interment will follow at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro serving as pallbearers will be Neuman Browning, Doug Wallace, Jay Murdock, Phil Forgy, E.J.
