Robert Guy Bramble

August 27, 1921 — May 12, 2015

Mr. Robert G. "Bob" Bramble was born on August 27, 1921 in Sioux City, Iowa. He is the son of the late Orlando and Doris Bramble. Robert left this world to be joined with his savior on the afternoon of May 12, 2015. He lived to be 93 years old. And, what a story he has left behind.

Robert G. “Bob” Bramble graduated from Central High School in Sioux City in June of 1940. In September of 1940 he enlisted in the US Army Air Corps. He spent 24 years in the United States Air Force as a flight engineer and retired a Senior Master Sergeant.

Robert served his country with honor and pride. He was a WWII veteran. His missions and achievements are too great to list here.

In the spring of 1951 while attending a Flight Engineering school at Chanute Field, Illinois he met his bride to be. Viola Allen and Robert G. Bramble were married on September 1, 1951. They celebrated over 63 years of marriage before he passed away.

Robert G. Bramble was a member of the Dorcas Wills Memorial Baptist Church in Trinity, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Viola Bramble and his daughter Deborah Bramble-Clemons and son-in-law Danny R. Clemons. All reside in Yantis, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his three brothers; Johnnie Bramble and Warren Bramble of Montana and Harold Bramble of California.

Robert G. Bramble was a devoted husband and a loving father who lived his life with dignity and grace. He will be forever loved and missed. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Pm on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Dorcas Wills Memorial Baptist Church 201 Robb Drive Trinity, Texas 75862, Bro. Leroy Brown officiating, interment will follow at Chita Cemetery in Sebastopol, Texas.
