Robert R. Grigar

Robert R. Grigar, 57, of Winnsboro, released his spirit unto Heaven on August 19, 2020. He passed away with the love of his life, wife Danette, holding his hand. Robert was born on October 3, 1962 in Sugar Land, Texas. He was a resident of Winnsboro for a short time, having moved from Livingston, Texas. Robert worked as a lineman until ill health forced him to retire. Even in ill health, his bright spirit continued to enlighten the lives of those around him. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Livingston. He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard Grigar and Lamerle (Clay) Smith. Robert is survived by his wife Danette Grigar, his stepmother Donna Grigar, stepsister Jenny and husband Tony Hensley, stepsister Amanda and husband Mike Newkham, his children, Bobby, Meghan, Brooke, Jennifer and husband Nick, Ryan, Emily and husband Paul, and grandchildren Sierra, Wyatt, Anna, Kayleigh, Kaitlyn and Paul, Jr. A rosary and memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 21st at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro, father Mani Mathai celebrant.
