Robert Cleston Mccoy

Robert Cleston McCoy, 87, of Mineola, TX died on Thursday, February 20, 2014 in Mineola, TX. He was born on Thursday, February 3, 1927 in Hawley, TX to the late Luther and Ona Mae McCoy. Mr. McCoy was a member of Sand Springs Baptist Church of Mineola, TX. He was a veteran for the United States Navy. He worked for Otis Engineering for forty four years.

He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy; four brothers, and one sister.

He is survived by his daughter; Linda Wood and husband Carl of Mineola, TX; grandson, Dwain Martin and wife Carrie of Denton, TX; great grandchildren, Simon Martin and Hallie Martin; nephew; Cecil McCoy and wife Liz of Quitman, TX.

Visitation will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 6-8 PM. Funeral service will be at Sand Springs Baptist Church in Mineola at 1:00 PM on Monday February 24, 2014 with Bro. Jim Parker officiating .Internment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Mineola.
