Robert "Rob" Michael Wagner, born on July 17, 1963, in Tyler, Texas, passed away on June 14, 2024. Rob was the son of the late Kenneth Wagner and Lou Hooks Wagner. Growing up in Mineola, Texas, Rob attended Mineola High School and later pursued his education at East Texas State University.
Rob dedicated his career to livestock management and was the former owner of Tri-County Feed in Winnsboro, Texas. His commitment to the agricultural community was well known and respected. Outside of his professional life, Rob was a member of the Pine Street Baptist Church in Winnsboro, where his faith and spirit were evident in all he did.
Rob had a passion for team roping, agriculture, and hay shows, enjoying these activities throughout his life. Known for his love for his family, Rob's life was filled with the joy and pride he took in his children and grandchildren.
On August 25, 1997, Rob married the love of his life, Rena Mitchell. Together, they built a loving family and cherished many happy years together. Rob is survived by his devoted wife, Rena Wagner of Winnsboro; his daughters, Lacy Guerrero and her husband, Ryan of San Jose, CA, and Molly Arnold and her husband, Ty of Midway; his son, Mitchell Wagner of Midway; and his four grandchildren, Declan, Rowan, and Quinn Guerrero, and Tyce Arnold. He is also survived by his sister, Robin Averett and her husband, Jimmy of Mineola; his nephew, Lane Averett; aunt, Patsy Brooks, and cousins, Kevin Brooks and Blake Brooks, along with numerous other family members and close friends.
In honor of Rob's memory, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Pine Street Baptist Church of Winnsboro, Texas.
Rob Wagner's life was a testament to dedication, love, and community spirit. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
