Roger Mcmullen

(Ron) Roger Eugene McMullen, 68, passed from this life to his heavenly home on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 6:48 pm. Ron lost his long and well fought fight with liver cancer at his home surrounded by his loving family. Ron provided for his family with a successful career in the automotive industry that spanned over 45 years. Having been raised in the country here in Texas he enjoyed anything that connected him with our Saviors Creation, that included people. Roger Eugene McMullen was born April 21, 1952, (San Jacinto Day) in Houston, TX to Lawrence Alex and Velma Merlene (Williams) McMullen. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother Lynn Wayne McMullen of Alvord, TX. Those left to cherish Ron’s memory are his beloved wife of over 29 years, Kelli McMullen of Quitman, TX; brother, Larry McMullen and wife Cindy of Alvord, TX; daughter, Carol Beerck of Arlington, TX; son, Bud Beaudreault and wife Dana of Houston, TX; son, Jason McMullen and wife Heather of Nixa, MO; daughter, Ashley and husband Brian Melton of Frisco, TX; son, Tyler McMullen and fiancé Ashley Siddens of Arlington, TX; daughter, Tori McMullen and fiancé Lucas Hays of Temple, TX; daughter, Sara and husband Andrew Johnson of Jarrell, TX; granddaughters, Emily, Danika, and Kelsey of Nixa, MO; many cousins and a host of friends. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, February 12, 2021 from 6 - 8 pm at Beaty Funeral Home, Mineola TX. Funeral Service is scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Beaty Funeral Home, Mineola, TX. In lieu of flowers, family has requested donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
