Ronald Edward "Red" Humphreys, age 71, died Monday, February 6, 2012 in Mineola, Texas. He was born on Friday, June 28, 1940 in Mineola, Texas to the late Phillip and Erma Jean Humphreys. He was retired from the Mineola Police Dept. and Mineola Fire Dept. He worked for Walter Ranch for 25 years and was a Hainesville Community Club Board Member. He attended New Hope Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife Sandra Humphreys.

He is survived by two sons, Courtney Keel of Mineola and Randy Keel of Dover, Delaware; two brothers Ray Humphreys of Longview, Texas and Gene Humphreys of Marshall, Texas; and three grandchildren, Taylor Keel, Kaitlyn Keel and Tasmin Keel.

Visitation for Mr. Humphreys will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola from 6 - 8 PM.

Funeral services will be held at Beaty Funeral Home's Memorial Chapel on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Fred Morrow officiating.
