Ronald Snyder

Ronald Lee Snyder, 63, of Winnsboro, Texas passed away in a Tyler area hospital on January 11, 2020. Ron was born on October 5, 1956 to William and Betty Snyder in Tyler. He was a 1975 graduate of Robert E. Lee high school and once a reserve deputy for the Smith County Sheriff's Department. Mr. Snyder was also a member of Southern Oaks Baptist Church. Ron was currently the assistant manager of Walmart in Sulphur Springs and had been an employee of Walmart for over 15 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Vickie Snyder; son Joey Hart; brother Michael "Mike" Snyder and father-in-law Bill Baber. Mr. Snyder is survived by his parents William and Betty Snyder of Tyler; children Stacey White and husband Alan of Winnsboro, Eric Hart and wife Susan of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren Dakota Rushing and wife Julie of Winnsboro, Jessica Ayers and fiance Cash Sparks of Mt. Pleasant, Shy Anne White of Winnsboro, Sierra White of Winnsboro, Kainer Hart of Winnsboro, Dillon Smith and wife Kendra of Mt. Pleasant; great-grandchildren Galen Rushing, Cooper Ayers, Addison Fry, Owen Sparks, Ike Sparks; sisters Paula Lunsford of Tyler, Diane Gilbert and husband Rod of Overton; in-laws Bill and Mary Wilburn; sister-in-law Belinda Riley and husband Kenny; nieces and nephews Lindsey Lunsford, Logan Lunsford, Jeremy Baber,Colby Worley and wife Jessica, Ben Worley and wife Amber. A visitation will be held at Beaty Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. The funeral will be held beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Beaty Funeral Home and burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Wood County. Bro. Nub Brown to officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Ron's name to the American Heart Association.
