Rosalee Hammers (Clements)

August 22, 1927 — January 23, 2025

Rosalee Hammers, born on August 22, 1927, in Benton, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2025, at the age of 97. She was the daughter of Rudolph Clements and Ethel Irene Holt, and she grew up surrounded by the love of family in her Arkansas home.

Rosalee graduated from David O Dodd High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. She dedicated her life to her family, taking great pride in her role as a devoted homemaker. Rosalee found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from reading her favorite books to sewing gifts of love for those she cared about. A lover of animals, she had a special place in her heart for her dog, Coco, who was a faithful companion throughout the years.

She married John Truman Hammers, and together they shared a lifetime of memories. Rosalee was a cherished mother to John Hammers, Ricky Hammers, Gloria Mihland, Jewell Darst, Sandy Daniel, and Terrie Clark. She was a loving sister to Tommy Carl and Mayonna, brother and a proud grandmother to 14 grandchildren, as well as a great-grandmother to many more. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Rosalee was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Hammers, her father Rudolph Clements, her mother Ethel Irene Holt, her daughter Pat Kinney, and several brothers and sisters. She was welcomed into heaven by Johnny Blain, Timmy Lynne, Michael Holt, Marie, Genner, Ronnie, Francis, and Billie Sue.

Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was an active member of Harvest Acres Church, where she found comfort and strength in her spiritual community.

Rosalee's love for her family and her gentle spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of kindness, strength, and devotion will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
