Roy Oscar Baker

Roy Oscar Baker, age 98, died Thursday, August 26, 2010 in Quitman, Texas. He was born on Wednesday, March 6th, 1912 to the late John and Adelia Baker in Groesbeck, Texas. He lived in Wood County since 1982 and was a retired Mail Carrier for the U. S. Postal Service. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII.

He is preceded in death by his parents and all of his brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline Baker of Quitman, Texas; a son, Wendell Baker of Quitman; two grandchildren, Mark Baker and Scott Baker and one nephew, Joe Don Baker of California.
