Roy Lynn Carr

Dr. Roy L. Carr, age 58 of Mansfield, formerly of Winnsboro, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 in Ft. Worth. He was born in Yellville, Arkansas on December 27, 1951 to the late James Wesley and Letha Fay Gurley Carr. He graduated from Winnsboro High School, and later Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He was semi-retired from his family medical practice in Mansfield. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Vena Adams Carr of Mansfield; daughter, Allison K. Carr of Mansfield; brothers, Wesley Carr and wife Judy of Rockwall, Larry Carr and wife Julie of Garland, Jerry Carr of Dallas, James Carr and wife Karen of Kingston, Oklahoma; sisters, M. Joyce Martin and husband David of Mesquite, Katherine Kaye Mays of Rockwall; four grandchildren, Alex Brandon, Victoria and Tristan.
