Ruby Ann Alexander (Hammond)

Mrs. Alexander died Oct. 7, 2008, in Mineola.

She was born Jan. 22, 1939, to the late George and Donna Lee Henderson Hammond. She lived in Mount Pleasant for many years prior to moving to Mineola three years ago. She had worked as a bartender and also sat with the elderly. She was a Baptist and member of Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars in Mount Pleasant.

Survivors include daughters, Vicki Harris, Mineola, and Teresa Johnson; brothers, Kenneth Hammond, Henderson, and Johnny Hammond, Commerce; three grandchildren, Misty St. Clair of Saginaw, Sunny Folmar of Mineola and Coye Harris of Golden; two great-grandchildren Sophie Folmar and Gavin St. Clair.
