Ruby Lee Brown

Ruby Lee (O'Kelley) Brown of Winnsboro passed away on April 18, 2020. Ruby was born on September 13, 1926 in Mangum, Oklahoma to Thomas L. and Martha Shillings O'Kelley. Ruby met married Robert L. Brown on June 17, 1950 in Midland, Texas and they enjoyed 61 years of marriage until his passing in 2001. She quit school at 16 to take care of her family when her father passed away. Ruby worked many years as a secretary. Mrs. Brown is survived by her sisters Jirldean Carta and Dortha May Wilson; 14 nieces and nephews and a host of friends from her church and community. A private graveside service will take place on Friday, April 24, 2020 at Lee Cemetery.
