Ruby Elizabeth Carnes, 93, of Mineola, Texas died on September 17, 2014. She was born on Monday, February 21, 1921 in Edgewood, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents Quillie Chambless Wade and Fannie Gowins; husband, Miles Raymond Carnes; brothers, Levon Wade, Jim Wade and Jerry Wade; sister, Estella Wade.

She is survived by her sons; Kenneth Ray Carnes of Garland, TX, Benny Wayne Carnes of Flint, TX; daughters: Judy Lawrence of Aberdeen, MS, Jane Carnes of Mineola, TX; sister, Annie Johnson of Emory, TX; grandchildren, Krista and husband Brad, Abbie and husband John, Dustin and wife Lisa, Erik, Ali, Gina, Lisa, Mandy and Andrew, and eleven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Beaty Funeral Home on Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 4-6 PM. Funeral service will be held at Beaty Funeral Home on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at 3:00 PM officiated by Rev. Merle Parker and Rev. Mile Prescott. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Mineola,TX.
