Ruby Murdock

Ruby Fay Jackson Murdock, age 69 of Winnsboro, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2007 at her home. She was born in Cooper on June 10, 1937 to the late Leslie and Dorothy Thomas Jackson. She was a member and sunday schoolteacher at Pine Street Baptist Church, and a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Conne Jo Elmore, and her husband Jerry Murdock in 1992. She is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Hurst of Grapevine, Jean Hogeda of Winnsboro; one son Jay Murdock of Winnsboro; one brother, Johnny Jackson of Lake Dallas; one sister, Ester Abbott of Wortham; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
