Rudolph E Fields

Rudolph Eural Fields, age 82, died Monday, March 28, 2011 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on Saturday, June 30, 1928 in Murchison, Texas to the late John Wesley and Neva Orene Fields. He was a member of Holly Tree Chapel in Holly Lake Ranch, Texas. He was the past president of the Dallas Exchange Club and the State Secretary of the National Exchange Club. He helped install and then managed the Dallas County Computer Department. He also helped install and then manage the computer systems for the Dallas County Hospital District. He was a budget officer for Dallas County Clerk and a computer manager for Dallas Power and Light Company.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marlene Fields of Lindale, Texas; two daughters, Sandra Lynn Duncan of Plano, Texas and Lou Ann Steck of Lindale; a sister, Virginia Rumsey of Granbury, Texas; seven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Holly Tree Chapel on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Louis Gant officiating.
