Ruth M. Bailey

Mrs. Ruth M. Bailey passed away on Friday, December 1, 2006 at the age of 87. She was born on March 14, 1919 to the late Rufus D. McAllister and Minnie Romine McAllister. Mrs. Bailey was a retired school teacher having taught for fourty-six years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Slidell, TX and was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Winnsboro. Mrs. Bailey was a member of the Wood County Retired Teacher Association and was a Charter Member of the Stagner Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Noble Bailey and by three sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Nobelene Wilson and her husband Marion of Winnsboro; her adopted family, Harry and Linda Daniels of Balch Springs; two grandchildren, Kristi Hankins and husband Ronnie and Jenny Bates; three great grandchildren, Cord Hankins, Bailey Hankins and Dylan Reschke.
