Ruth Brewer

On February 2, 2009 Ruth Jarred Brewer, 94, completed her journey on earth and is now with her Creator. She will be deeply missed and remembered lovingly by her family, friends and all those who met her.

Ruth is survived by daughter, Norma Porter Holbritter and husband Bob; son, Jerry M. Brewer and wife Nannette; grandchildren, Gina H. Luther and husband Scot, Stephen G. Helble and wife Rebecca, Jason M. Brewer and wife Melissa, Jeffrey S. Brewer and wife Kimberly; great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Allison and Natalie Luther, Mack, William and Cade Helble, Luke, Zachary and Brady Brewer and several beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Aubrey Mack Brewer; parents, Sam Houston Jarred and Eliza Jane Potter Jarred; sisters, Lois Caldwell, Opal Mills and Deon Tinney; brothers, Guy Jarred and R.G. Jarred.

A memorial service, honoring Ruth's life, will be held at 2pm Thursday, February 5th at Beaty Funeral Home in her home town of Winnsboro, Texas. Visitation with the family will be from 5 – 8pm, Wednesday, February 4th, also at Beaty Funeral Home.
