With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ryan Alan Gilbreath, who left us on January 23, 2026, at the age of 43. Born on March 26, 1982, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Ryan lived a life filled with love for family, friends, and his favorite pastimes.
Ryan will be deeply missed by his son, Carter Gilbreath; his loving parents, Ronney and Sharon Gilbreath; his sister, Whitney Wenich, and her husband, Justin; and a joyful group of nieces and nephews who cherished their time with him.
Ryan dedicated his life to what truly mattered-spending cherished moments with his loved ones. A passionate fan of the Texas Longhorns and the Dallas Mavericks, he found joy in sports, whether watching his teams from the living room or sharing spirited discussions with fellow fans. Ryan loved the great outdoors, often seen with a fishing rod in hand or playing a round of golf, where laughter and friendly competition abounded.
A visitation for Ryan will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro on February 1, 2026, at 1:00 PM, where friends and family can gather to share stories and honor his memory. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, allowing for a heartfelt tribute to a man who brought so much happiness to those around him.
Ryan will be laid to rest at 3:00 PM that same day at the family burial site located at Cypress Cemetery in Franklin County.
As we come together to celebrate Ryan's life, we invite all who knew him to join us in remembering his passion for life, his love of family, and his infectious spirit. Ryan may have left this world, but his memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
