Sally Jo Jackson

Sally J. Jackson, 77, of Mineola, Texas, closed her eyes on earth and opened them up in Heaven on December 25, 2021. She was born on September 15, 1944, in Commerce, Texas, to the late Joe Robert and Sally Pauline (Fulfer) Bussell. Sally was a graduate of Wolfe City High School in 1963 and a member of the Grand Saline Church of Christ. Sally was a homemaker who made sure her husband and children were well fed and when they walked through the doors it was to a loving home. Mrs. Jackson is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years Larry L. Jackson; son A.J. Jackson; daughter Tammy Cunningham and husband Jon; granddaughters Rylee Jackson and Gracyn Cunningham; sisters Delores Willaby and Linda Hudson; brothers Robert Bussell and Mark Bussell. Sally was also preceded in death by sisters Kathy Bussell Cripe and Paula Ronnett Bussell. The family will receive friends for a visitation at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Wednesday, December 29th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The funeral to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 30th in the chapel of Beaty Funeral Home and burial will immediately follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mineola.
