Sam Ed Vaughn

Mr. Sam Ed Vaughn, age 84 of Winnsboro, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 in Tyler. He was born on May 6, 1937 in Winnsboro to the late Dud Vaughn and Ruby Pool.
Sam was a retired rancher and member of the Masonic Lodge #479 in Boyd, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Virginia Vaughn.
He is survived by his son, David Brent Vaughn of Gilmer; daughter, Gailya Ruble and husband, Jimmy Sands of Sulphur Springs; brothers, Kenneth Vaughn of Hawkins, Bob Vaughn of Mt. Pleasant, and Duke Vaughn and wife, Rita of Winnsboro; sisters, Judy Hodges of Winnsboro, Linda Kay Klika of Winnsboro, Sue Scott and husband, Joe of Sulphur Springs, and Martha Flores of Winnsboro; grandchildren, Haley Ruble and Ginger Ruble and one great grandchild, Saylar Schroeder. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022 at Little Hope Cemetery CR 3984 Winnsboro, TX at 2:00 pm, with Cameron Vaughn, Jacob Jackson, Ike Vaughn, Kenneth Vaughn, Bob Vaughn, Duke Vaughn, Josh Vaughn serving as honorary pallbearers.
