Sammie Hall passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of faith, kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and friends.

Born and raised in Mineola, Texas, Sammie was a beautiful, gracious woman whose gentle spirit touched everyone she met. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, treasured sister, aunt, daughter, and faithful friend. Her greatest joy was found in spending time with those she loved, and she never missed an opportunity to encourage, support, and care for others. Her beloved shih tzu, Sasha, was also a constant source of companionship and joy.

As the proud wife of a United States Air Force serviceman, Sammie embraced the adventure of military life. She and her husband, Paul, lived in numerous states and countries throughout his career, forming lifelong friendships everywhere they went. While she treasured the experiences and people she encountered along the way, returning home to Mineola after Paul's retirement brought her great happiness, allowing her to once again be close to the family and community she loved.

Sammie found fulfillment in serving others. She was an avid reader and dedicated countless hours volunteering with organizations throughout Mineola, Quitman, and Wood County. Her life reflected her deep Christian faith and her belief that even the smallest act of kindness could make a lasting difference.

She often shared a quote that beautifully reflected the way she lived:

Sammie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Hall; her son, Charles Hall; her father, Sam Beall; her mother, Maxine Franko; her stepfather, Mike Franko; her stepmother, Otera Beall; her sisters, Sue Waldon and Joni Adami; and her brother, Frank York.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving sons, Steve Moran and Shane Hall and wife Katrina; her devoted niece, Jan White and husband Shannon; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members; and a host of dear friends whose lives were enriched by knowing her.

A simple Memory Garden Service celebrating Sammie's life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, at St. Dunstan's Columbarium in Mineola.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made to St. Dunstan's in memory of Sammie Hall.

Though she will be deeply missed, Sammie's legacy of compassion, service, steadfast faith, and unconditional love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
