Sammie Ray McCullough was born on June 19, 1920 in Manchester, Tennessee to the late Tom and Dollie McCullough.
He is preceded in death by his wife Ruby Pearlene McCullough; three sons, Larry McCullough, Ross McCullough and Dwain McCullough; two daughters, Shirley McIntosh and Patricia Griffen.
He is survived by two sons; Donald Ray McCullough and wife Jackie of Wylie, TX, Daryl McCullough and wife Dian of Wylie, TX; three daughters; Anita Grimes of Fruitvale, TX, Betty Benton of Caddo Mills, TX, Darlene Istre of Kingston, OK; one sister, Hazel Favors of Coppell, TX; thirty one grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren, with numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, TX on Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 6-8 PM. Funeral service will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, TX on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 2:00 PM officiated by Chaplain Mark Posey. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Winnsboro, TX.
