Sara Estelle Sims

Mrs. Sara Estelle Stevens Sims, age 98 of Tyler, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 in Tyler. Sara Estelle was born in Wood County on March 6, 1916 to the late John Monroe and Velma Pearl Willard Stevens. She was retired, a Methodist, a member of the Order of The Wastern Star, and a Rebekah for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oris Dalton Sims on March 26, 1982; two brothers,John W. and Horace M. Stevens. She is survived by three nieces, Pat Huckabay of Spring, Kay Smith of Tyler, and Sandra Teel of Spring. Graveside services will be held at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 10:00 AM, Bro. Ronny Spence officiating.
