Saundra Jean Coons

Mrs. Saundra Jean Steele Coons, went to be with the Lord Thursday, December 28, 2006 in Winnsboro, she was 64 years old. She was born at Fort Gordon Georgia on August 11, 1942 to the late Claude and Molly Brown Steele. She worked as a R.N., and was a member of Highland Meadows Assembly of God Church in Red Oak, Tx. She was married to James R. Coons on April 13, 1997 at the Grace Assembly of God Church in Coke, Tx. After moving to Winnsboro, she attended Harmony Assembly of God Church in Pickton, where she served as W.M President. She is survived by her husband, James Coons of Winnsboro; one son Donald Coons of Hockney; five daughters, Debra Coons Quinn of Winnsboro, Deanna Coons Wooten of Red Oak, Donna Coons Meyer of Waxahachie, Dori Coons Rurak of Sulphur Bluff, Dina Coons Mayo of West; one brother, Robert Steele of The Colony; sixteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
