Shannon Thomas Seaton

Shannon Thomas Seaton, age 35, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013 in Quitman, Texas. He was born on Wednesday, November 9, 1977 in Tyler, Texas to V.T. and Mary Kathryn Seaton. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mineola, Texas and had just returned from a mission trip with the UM Army. He was involved in the Miss Mineola Pageant, the Lake Country Playhouse Theatre and was the Drama/Theatre teacher for the Mineola Independent School District.

He was preceded in death by his father, V.T. Seaton, Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Kathryn Seaton of Mineola; his wife, Tabitha Seaton of Mineola; and two daughters, Maisy Elisabeth and Madelyn Grace.

Visitation for Mr. Seaton will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Friday, July 19, 2013 from 6 – 8 PM.

Funeral services will be held at First United Methodist Church in Mineola on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Rick Son and Rev. Dan Danheim officiating.

Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Mineola.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the FUMC Mineola Building Fund, Drama Dept. at Mineola ISD or the American Heart Association.
