Sharlotte Ann (Shirley) Qualls passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 7, 2024 in Rowlett TX.
She is rejoicing in heaven now with her dad and her son Wesley. She was a joy to be around and had
the most tender heart of anyone ever. She will be missed terribly. She was born in Quitman TX on
November 4, 1958, to James Paul Shirley and Barbara Ann (Pool) Shirley and was the second baby
born in the new hospital at the time. She grew up in Garland, TX. She graduated from South Garland

children, Wesley Qualls (deceased), Waylon Qualls and Amanda (Qualls) Hunter.

of her death, she was employed at the Shapiro Law firm in Plano TX. She was a hard worker and
took pride in her job no matter where she worked.
Sharlotte enjoyed collecting pigs of all sorts. She was an avid cross stitcher and a clean freak. She
hated messes. She also enjoyed going to the beach and camping with family. But above all else she
loved her family, especially her grandkids! Sharlotte had a special gift for and loved taking care of the
elderly. She also LOVED babies-anyone’s and everyone’s babies. Sharlotte loved with her whole
heart and if you were loved by her, you knew that you were loved.
Sharlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Don Qualls, and her oldest son, Wesley Qualls,
both in 2008 and by her father, Paul Shirley, in 2016.
