Sharon Eaton

March 31, 1947 — January 11, 2026

Sharon passed away peacefully at home in Mineola, Texas, on January 11, 2026 surrounded by family and friends.

Sharon grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated from Castleberry HighSchool Classs of 1965, and then attended Lon Morris College in Jacksonville, Texas. She was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas where she sang in the choir. She worked and lived in the DFW Metroplex until moving to Mineola in 1999. She enjoyed painting, loved listening to the music of Neil Diamond, was an Elvis fan and avid watcher of her favorite programs.

Sharon was preceeded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Terry Eaton of 53 years, sister Janie Thornton, daughters Gina Todd and Jill Russell, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, special friends Henry and Debbie Lee, and many other friends and family.

Sharon's Celebration of Life will include a visitation and viewing on Thursday, January 22 from 6-8pm and a service on Friday, January 23 at 10am at Beaty Funeral Home, Mineola, Texas. Interment will be at Greenwood Mausoleum in Fort Worth, Texas, Friday, January 23 at 3pm.

The family would like to thank all those who offer prayers and support during this difficult time. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.
