Sharon Renae Mcgee

December 22, 1964 — July 11, 2022

Sharon Renae McGee of Mineola, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend opened her eyes in Heaven on July 11, 2022. Sharon was born in Pasadena, Texas, on December 22, 1964 to the late Gaines L. Davis and Geraldine Higginbothom Davis. Sharon grew up in Deer Park and moved to Colorado and finally finished high school in West Brunswick, North Carolina class of 1983. Her career saw her as a supervisor for Farmers Insurance, teaching children in Brenham, Texas, Wyoming, and lastly worked in medical billing for Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. Sharon loved dipping her toes in the water at the beach, snow skiing, reading books, and most importantly taking care of her husband and sons. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Larry McGee; stepmother Linda Davis, sons Terrell McGee, Colby McGee and wife Elizabeth, Bransten McGee, and Colten McGee; brothers Gary Manley, Mike Davis, Tim Davis; sisters Gena Davis, Carla Manley, and Linda Whitten; grandchildren Riley McGee, Aubrey McGee, Trinity McGee, Khloee McGee, Phoebe McGee, and Mila McGee. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 18th at 12 noon at Grandview Memorial Park in Deer Park, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to The American Cancer Society by going to www.cancer.org or the local church of your choice.
