Sherman Doyle Favors

Mr. Sherman Doyle Favors, age 69 of Waskom, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022 in Longview. He was born on May 20, 1952 in Hearn, Texas to the late David Favors Sr. and Pearl Thompson Favors.

Sherman was a Baptist, a retired Ranch Hand and enjoyed, hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandbabies.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gary Favors and sister, Shirley Garrett.

He is survived by his loving Wife, Carolyn Favors of Waskom; son, Michael Favors of Dallas; daughter, Christina Bacon of Dallas; step-children, Joe Bob Bennett of Celeste, Angela Taylor of Hughes Springs and Casey Plunk of Newsome; brothers, David Favors, Jr. of DeBerry and Floyd Favors of DeBerry; sisters, Loretta Rhoades of Scroggins and Glenda McManamy of Caddo Lake; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494 at 11:00 am with Joe Bob Bennett conducting.
