Shirley Ruth Parnell

Graveside services for Shirley Ruth Parnell, 59, Hawkins, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Holmes officiating. Arrangements under direction of Beaty Funeral Home of Hawkins.

Mrs. Parnell died April 25, 2009, in Hawkins. She was born Oct. 22, 1949, in Dallas to the late J.W. and Berneace McElfresh Morris. She was a Wal-Mart sales associate and a Baptist.

Survivors include sons, Joey Wayne Parnell and Kyle Wayne Parnell, both of Hawkins, and Buddy Tyler Parnell of West; brother, Arthur Lee Morris of Linden; sisters, Inez M. Burleson and Jeanie Smith, both of Linden; and granddaughter, Tiffani Parnell of Oklahoma.

Pallbearers are Tommy Hooper, Mike Burleson, Carl Hooper, Scott Powell, Bradley Morris and Craig Morris.
