On May 5, 2026, Sondra Deanna Adkins, a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, peacefully left this world, leaving behind a rich tapestry of memories woven with love and laughter. Born in Muscogee, GA, on July 28, 1964, Sondra spent her beautiful life in the heart of her family, residing in Winnsboro, TX, where she embraced the role of housewife with warmth and grace.
Sondra was known for her passion for life and the simple pleasures that brought her joy. Whether it was crocheting cozy blankets, whipping up delicious meals, or indulging in her favorite romantic dramas, she filled her home with love and creativity. Her collections of angels and teddy bears, along with her love for sunflowers and magnolias, reflected a spirit that was both gentle and playful.
In her last days, Sondra showcased immense strength and resilience, fighting bravely to remain with her cherished family for as long as she could. Her legacy lives on through her daughter, Deanie Hamilton; her son, Austin Adkins, and husband, Ryan; her siblings, Eddie, George, and Gena Morris; and her adoring grandchildren, Brooklyn Hamilton and Bridget Smith, who were the light of her life.
A graveside service will be held at the DFW National Cemetery on May 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and celebrate the beautiful life she led. Prior to the service, visitation will take place at Beaty Funeral Home Chapel in Winnsboro on May 27, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM, allowing loved ones to share stories and fond memories of Sondra.
As we come together to remember Sondra, let us celebrate the love she shared, the laughter she inspired, and the countless cherished moments that will forever be in our hearts.
Sondra was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Adkins; parents Edward Morris and Deanie Morris; and her son, Justin Adkins.
